Greed, no respect hurting this nation

I can't reach high enough to tell you how fed up I am.

I remember when America was great! A time when people cared about one another, when business appreciated their workers, when workers appreciated and were proud of the company they worked for.

I remember a time when we had respect for God, country, and our flag. We were of many faiths and cultures united under one flag, one language.

Let's start by taking away God, the Pledge of Allegiance and a "moment of silence". Let's take away your "word" and a hand shake, and replace it with a wordy contract that suggests mistrust. Let's take away self responsibility, because everyone knows someone else is responsible. Let's take away parents' rights and stand by the side of the child. Let's take away the rights of the school and stand on the side of the student. And let's not forget our Freedom of Speech which has been compromised by "Politically correct".

Now we enter the "era of greed", "bottom line", and "global economy". The power and the money is filtering upward...

I consider some of these CEO's to be worse than any serial killer. This greed has affected millions of peoples' lives. This greed has taken down a country. This greed is treason. And our government is enabling this greed to grow.

Each and every one of us needs to stand up and be counted. We need to take responsibility. Are you a registered voter? Do you accept everything and say "Oh well, what can I do?" We are losing America. We are losing our inalienable right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness... Oh well!"
