Freedom does not require religion

Mitt Romney told America, "Freedom requires religion just as religion requires freedom."

I could not disagree more. I am free from religion, and with respect to religion, it's not possible to be freer.

While all Americans should agree freedom of religion must be cherished and defended, I don't think Mitt Romney understands the meaning of the word "freedom," nor does anyone who agrees with that statement.
