Story was nostalgic walk in Wing Park
I really wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Sunday article about the Daily Herald Duffers (Jim Baumann & Mike Smith).
My father-in-law, Jack Reith lived on Wing Street during the 1960s right next to the golf course. He and I played Wing Park many times as he was teaching me how to really play and love the game of golf. I owe my addiction to the game of golf from all he taught me.
I currently play over 100 rounds of golf a year now that I am retired but the best rounds I ever played (and remember fondly) were those that I played with Jack.
Wing Park will always be very special to me.
