Volunteers needed for St. Patty's Day parade
The parade committee for the St. Patrick's Day Parade is seeking volunteers from the community, age 16 and older, to help organize and direct parade participants; direct parade-goers; register parade participants at city hall, and more.
Volunteers will be needed for a minimum of one to maximum of three hours between noon and 3 p.m. The parade begins at 2 p.m.
After the parade, all volunteers are welcome to attend the volunteer party at Real Time Sports Grill & Pub, major sponsor of the parade, to enjoy pizza, soft drinks and televised sports throughout the pub.
The parade, produced by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, will step off at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 in downtown St. Charles. The grand marshal will be former Chicago Bulls player and radio analyst Bill Wennington.
