Township to put on homebuyer's event

Hanover Township will put on a free homebuyer's workshop at 6:30 p.m. today at the township offices, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett.

Topics will include what to consider when selling or buying a house, financing options and how to use tax exemptions to lower a mortgage payment. For more information, contact the clerk's office at (630) 837-0301.

Crespo to put on town hall meeting

State Rep. Fred Crespo will host a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to provide an update on the happenings in Springfield and discuss issues affecting area residents. It's the first in a series of public forums to be held by the Hoffman Estates Democrat.
