Scouting the Fire: It will be interesting to see coach Denis Hamlett's lineup. Who will pair up front with Brian McBride? Can Marco Pappa beat out Justin Mapp on the left flank, or even move to the right? Can Dasan Robinson and C.J. Brown, now healthy, earn a spot in the back line? Hamlett has plenty of options.

Scouting FC Dallas: Coach Schellas Hyndman is trying to implement his system and reshape the roster, but the biggest move was high-scoring Kenny Cooper not transferring to Europe. Hyndman gets to see how it all fits together tonight.
