Washington wines to be showcased in Libertyville

Chef Jean Marc Loustaunau designed eight autumn-appropriate courses for Cafe Pyrenees' October tapas wine dinner. Kurt "The Wine Guy" Yost expounds upon the paired wines, which come from Washington State boutique vineyards.

Barbecue and self-help book guru "Famous" Dave Anderson's chain plops down in Algonquin. The grand opening includes a "rib cutting" and FD's traditional Native American-style "Passing of the Embers," where the new location receives embers from a ceremonial fire begun at the first restaurant in 1994.
