Four days of corned beef and cabbage!

Get an early start on digging in to traditional St. Patrick's Day fare at the Arrowhead Golf Club's Arrowhead Restaurant. The venue is offering four days of Irish food and drink specials in honor of the holiday. Meal items include shepherd's pie and corned beef and cabbage. Drink specials feature Jameson cocktails and shots along with a festive "Shamrock Shaker."

Going for the green at Koi

They might not have green eggs and ham, but the Koi Chinese restaurant will have plenty of green items on its menu in honor of the St. Patrick's Day holiday. Dine on vegetable dumplings and edamame - and top it all off with some ice cold green tea ice cream for dessert.

Spend some time at the Tavern

The Village Tavern of Long Grove will serve traditional corned beef and cabbage and red potatoes for its St. Patrick's Day Weekend. The 162-year-old tavern will be decorated for the holiday and will offer drink specials along with the Irish fare. The event also features live music with Irish tunes, and a visit from the Michael Collins Irish Whiskey Girls.
