Two-time all-West Suburban Gold guard Malcolm Herron is the team's spark, averaging nearly 15 points per game. Keep an eye on Alex Gorniak's backcourt work while Bledar Dervishi and Julius Staisiunas control the boards. It's a tough assignment at this Class 4A Hinsdale South regional final, where the Mustangs will face a Mt. Carmel team powered by Illinois-bound guard Tracy Abrams, who's rated as one of the state's top sophomores. The Caravan received a scare in Wednesday's semifinals, but it pulled away to a 61-54 victory over Hinsdale South.
