Bean is just another tax, spend Democrat

Melissa Bean recently sent out a survey to her 8th Congressional District constituents asking how the stimulus bill she voted for will help them. My public answer to her is "It won't."

Since Ms. Bean has consistently run as a moderate Democrat, it strikes me as hypocritical that she consistently votes the party line instead of representing her moderate constituents. The stimulus bill is nothing more than a gluttonous spending bill, and Bean probably never read the bill before voting yes on it.

She apparently just did what she was told by her party. This doesn't serve her constituents, and it doesn't bode well for her independence. Ms. Bean, we don't need another "yes woman" in Congress. We need a thinker who cares about her district and the future taxpayers who will be saddled with this incredible debt for generations to come.
