Herald's outrage missing for Dist. 203

Spare your readers the feigned indignation, Daily Herald. So the Daily Herald is upset about Warren Township's proposed 6% raise for its superintendent? Oh, please. Where was the Herald's outrage when Naperville Unit District 203 did exactly the exact same thing last year with its superintendent (one year before his retirement)? Where has the Herald been the past decade when District 203 has been succumbing to teachers union threats and approving teacher raises that have been 2-3 times higher than the private sector? Where is the fury about District 203's spending having doubled during an 11-12 year period when student enrollment increased by less than 10 percent? How does the Herald rationalize indignation at this 6 percent raise, and then turn around and support every tax increase request coming from these same school districts? Spare your readers the feigned indignation, Daily Herald.
