Joanne Johnson, a proven leader

The Village of Buffalo Grove will be electing three Village trustees on April 7th, and I ask that all Buffalo Grove residents cast a vote for Joanne Johnson. In past years, I have worked with Joanne on the Board of the Aptakisic-Tripp Dist. 102 Parent Teacher Organization.

Joanne served as our Board secretary for two years, and as our parliamentarian for one year, during which she rewrote our bylaws to improve the efficiency of our meetings. She also served our schools as a room mom, a band volunteer, a coordinator for our PTO's special lunch program, and a classroom volunteer presenting art programs to the students. She has had a direct positive impact on the lives of our students.

Joanne is an organized, effective leader, and works well with diverse groups of community members. She is well known in our school district and community as a smart, practical go-getter - someone you can rely upon to get tasks done, and done effectively. She has great new ideas on how to move our Village forward into the future.
