Zion sisters have been found unharmed; Amber Alert canceled

An infant and her toddler sister who were kidnapped from their mother at gunpoint Wednesday in Zion have been found unharmed, police said.

Police had issued an Amber Alert for 3-month-old Dyniste T. Finley, and 23-month-old Destiney T. Finley. Police would not release details on how or where the girls were found.

The kidnappers are still on the loose, Zion police say. Officials said the children's father, Dejavonte Finley and a second suspect, Asia Morris, abducted the girls about 1:30 p.m. from their home in the 2900 block of Gilead Street. They may be driving in a maroon Chevy Impala and have yet to be found.

Officials are asking anyone with information to call the Zion Police at (847) 872-4505.
