Fathers treat daughters to special night of dancing fun at Geneva High
There will be plenty of time later for little girls to grow up into young women who attend a prom with handsome young beaus.
Sunday night, girls ages 3 through sixth grade whirled and twirled with the man who is No. 1 in their hearts right now - daddy.
More than 1,000 fathers and daughters dressed up for a special night out at the annual Geneva Park District's Just Dad 'N' Me dance Feb. 15.
Some arrived at the Geneva High School gymnasium by limousine. Many went out for a special dinner beforehand. The magic of the night was captured in souvenir photographs.
The girls filled the air with squeals of laughter.
And we bet more than one dad got a little misty-eyed.
