Landscaper to be speaker at arts center

On Tuesday, the Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles will host a lecture by landscape contractor Bob Hursthouse.

He co-founded Hursthouse Inc. in 1990 and has received many community and industry accolades, including the Illinois Landscaping Contractors Association's Man of the Year.

He speaks regularly at the Chicago Botanic Garden, the Morton Arboretum and many other industry events.

The "Lifestyle Landscape" lecture will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Painting Studio of the Kavanagh Building, 6N158 Crane Road.

Attendees will explore the possibilities available for extending their lifestyle into their landscape through a discussion of lifestyle themes and viewing case studies.
