McKinnon, Nowak shouldn't serve

I am quite disturbed by the action of an attorney for the College of DuPage's board of trustees for creating two electoral boards to hear and pass on the objections to the nominations of candidates for offices in the community college district. State law calls for the creation of one electoral board, not two. Therefore, two boards are illegal.

Based on this illegal action, Micheal McKinnon and Mark Nowak, who are running for the same positions, will be judging the outsider candidates. That is inherently unfair. Therefore, both gentlemen must be disqualified from the electoral board. It's time for openness, honesty and fairness to be shown by the board of trustees.
