Youngstown St. tops UIC
Tom Parks hit five 3-pointers to score 15 points and lead Youngstown State to a 68-60 victory over host Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.
Youngstown State (8-15, 5-8 Horizon League) led 44-27 at halftime.
Josh Mayo led the Flames (10-13, 3-10) with 18 points, including three 3-pointers. Robo Kreps added 15 points, and Scott Vandermeer had a game-high 11 rebounds.
Vytas Sulskis came off the bench to score 13 points for the Penguins while Sirlester Martin added 10.
Youngstown State got 26 points from its bench players. The Penguins led by as many as 21.
