Israel has a right to protect itself

According to one Ms. Penny Bailey of Rolling Meadows, the current conflict involving Israel and the Hamas is from Israel pushing the Palestinians from their homelands, which isn't exactly right.

They may have been some of what you claim, but you must understand Israel has the right to defend its borders and people from unnecessary rockets and harm from outside influences such as what Hamas was doing.

Imagine, if you would, if we were separate countries and I lobbed rockets at your family and yourself, wouldn't you want to defend your family against such a situation as best as you could?
