Two companies buy steel facility
WHEELING -- Steel companies Wheeling-Pittsburgh Corp. and Esmark Inc. said Thursday their joint venture has agreed to purchase substantially all of the assets of ArcelorMittal USA's Sparrows Point facility and operations. The new company, to be called E2 Acquisition Corp., includes other industry and institutional investors. The facility is a former Bethlehem Steel plant capable of producing 3.9 million tons of raw steel annually.

BUFFALO GROVE -- Entries are now being accepted for the seventh annual Construction Writers Association's 2007 Marketing Communications Awards, open to any industry-related individual, corporation, association, advertising agency/PR firm or publication submitting a completed entry form along with a $100 entry fee.
