Marketing Mark Kirk as independent and moderate is like describing Fox News as fair and balanced. Mark Kirk has been a proponent of the following extreme policies of President Bush:

The invasion of Iraq

Fiscal irresponsibility

Delaying meaningful action on global warming

Denying the expansion of the state health insurance program to impoverished children- Children!

I had twice voted for Mark Kirk, but now it's time for him to walk the plank.
