Palatine Jaycees put on sand sale
The Palatine Jaycees are holding its annual sand fundraiser through today. The sand is suitable for sandboxes, gardening and construction projects. Costs range from $9 for a wheelbarrow full to $120 for four tons.

BHS holds spring band concert
The Barrington High School bands will present their Spring Finale concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the school's Richard C. Johnson Auditorium, 616 W. Main Street. The concert will feature the Barrington High School Concert and Symphonic Bands, under the direction of Mr. Randy Karon Admission is free. Camp PTO set in Barrington
The PTO Presidents' Council of Barrington is hosting "Camp PTO" between 9 and 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main Street.
Camp PTO is open to all District 220 and St. Anne's parents who will be serving in PTO or Home and School leadership positions for the 2008-2009 school year. Breakout sessions include cultural arts/ programs, mini courses, publicity, newsletter, treasurer, room parents and more.
The sessions will allow those who attend a chance to network with other parent volunteers who will be serving in similar positions for the upcoming school year or who have just completed serving. Reservations are required and forms are available through each PTO.
