Healthy Heart fair

Vista Health System is hosting a healthy heart fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at Vista Medical Center East, 1324 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan. The event features seminars, demonstrations, information booths and tours. "Heart Disease Intervention" will be presented at 1 p.m. by cardiac surgeon Dr. David Onsager. Free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings will be offered.

Viva Las Long Grove

An evening of gaming tables, live and silent auctions and fun will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Congregation Beth Judea, 5304 Route 83, Long Grove. Appetizers and drinks start at 7 p.m. with gaming tables and poker tournament open at 7:45 p.m. Tickets $60 at the door. Admission includes chips and a Bingo card. Attendees must be 21 or older. Raising money for prom

Grayslake North High School craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Grayslake North High School, 1925 N. Route 83, Grayslake. The school will host a craft fair with more than 50 vendors. Free admission. All proceeds from the craft show will go toward the lowering the cost of the 2009 prom for students.
