Couple found dead in home

BRADLEY -- A couple have been found dead in their north-central Illinois home, where high levels of carbon dioxide were also found.

Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner says the bodies of 43-year-old Anthony Wilcox Jr. and his wife, 45-year-old Anita Wilcox, were found by police Monday afternoon.

Gessner says the two appeared to have been dead at their Bradley home for some time.

Gessner says there were high levels of carbon dioxide in the home, and there's the possibility that a car was running in the garage.

Officers were called to the couple's home for a well-being check by concerned relatives who hadn't been able to reach them.

Autopsies are scheduled for Tuesday.
