Frisk's contributions still appreciated
Thanks to Bob Frisk! It is sad to hear that, after 50 years of service, Bob Frisk retired from the Daily Herald.
We met when I was a young athlete at John Hersey. I remember fondly hurrying to the morning paper to read results of teams throughout the area and Mr. Frisk's more personal articles.
That tradition extended through four generations of our household. More importantly, Mr. Frisk was always genuinely interested in the young men and women after they completed their high school careers and always welcomed updates on their endeavors.
Congratulations Bob on a glorious career. Enjoy your retirement. You have touched the lives of many.
