River Road lane closures in Des Plaines

The Des Plaines Engineering Department has received notification from the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority that River Road in Des Plaines, from Touhy Avenue to Oakton Street, will experience intermittent lane closures, during resurfacing work, for approximately two weeks beginning Aug. 11.

Motorists are advised to follow signage and drive cautiously.
