W. Dundee trustee supports Griffin
I have been fortunate to get to know Pam Griffin, Republican candidate for Dundee Township Supervisor, through her involvement in many West Dundee villagewide projects throughout the past several years.
Pam has an innate ability to motivate and bring people together in order to achieve a project's successful end. In the ever-challenging climate to govern within fiscal constraints, Pam has stepped up to lead both Heritage Fest and Dickens In Dundee committees, two projects that uniquely shape the quality of life and community spirit of West Dundee, recently threatened due to funding and manpower difficulties. When residents find out that Pam is involved in a project, residents come out in droves to support her efforts, contributing to the best of their time and financial capabilities.
Pam has the ability to build consensus between governmental entities in Dundee Township, including the Kane County Forest Preserve, Dundee Township Park District and local villages in order to create a trail to link open spaces, parks and forest preserves. I welcome the chance to work together with Dundee Township to make our open spaces truly open for all to enjoy.
Within this well-educated and hardworking businesswoman lies the creativity and foresight required to not only oversee the budget, but to use it wisely to provide new and expanded initiatives and social services to those in need in Dundee Township. She is a generous and accessible individual, wholeheartedly dedicated to her work. Look at her Web site, pamgriffinfordundee.com.
