Help U.S. businesses, stop overseas loopholes

The President is proposing to "crack down" on legal tax laws used by corporations to maximize their profits. He wants to go after U.S. companies who make investments in foreign countries and avoid paying U.S. taxes.

These companies do this because of lower overseas corporate taxes. Rather than trying to penalize companies for trying to make a profit, maybe we should try a novel approach to the problem: lower or eliminate corporate taxes so the companies would have a greater incentive to grow their businesses here. This would increase U.S. payrolls which in turn would increase tax revenues.
