Missing that stamp machine, coins
What are postal officials thinking by removing a stamp machine and replacing it with the instructions to buy from a competitor?
Showing us the way to digital delivery is not going to help the snail- mail business much.
I loved those dollar coins that poured out into the change receiver. It was the only place I made sure to put in a $20 bill, so I could get dollar coins from Uncle Sam.
I used to pass them on to retailers and give them away at the church. I got a smile every time I planted one in someone's hand.
They didn't just take a stamp machine, they took many smiles off of people's faces. For the first time ever, I want Uncle Sam more than he wants me. The postal service isn't thinking dollars, it is thinking trend.
Trends come and go, but stamps and coins live forever.
