Palatine Council candidate says he's a fresh face
We're already hearing about April's hot mayoral contest, so why not the village council races as well?
Aaron Del Mar, 30, announced he'll challenge veteran Councilman Mike Jezierski, who represents the 1st District.
De Mar is a 1996 graduate of Palatine High School and attended Indiana University on a wrestling scholarship. He founded Palatine-based businesses Articulate Promotions and Exquisite Jewelers, and started Fathers Helping Fathers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fathers' rights through parenting classes, support groups and legal assistance.
The husband and father of three is promoting himself as a new voice and fresh face.
