Man pulled from DuPage River in Napervile
A man was hospitalized Friday after being pulled out of the DuPage River in Naperville, police said.
The man was identified as David Aleman, 57. Police didn't know why he was in the river or how long he'd been in the water.
Two kayakers crusing down the river discovered the man about 4:30 p.m., not far from the 1800 block of South Washington Street, police said. They initially reported finding a body, but police discovered Aleman was alive when they arrived.
Aleman was taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville.
