Can Rozner write without showing off?
In most cases I really like reading Barry Rozner's column. However there are times when he comes across as very arrogant. He attempts to portray himself as the most knowledgeable writer known to man and tries to let everyone know how smart he thinks he is. Case in point was his Feb. 3 article on Larry Fitzgerald's reaction to the ill-advised interception of Kurt Warner. Mr. Rozner had great acknowledgment for the play, but then had to tell all of his readers to "keep in mind that a few years ago I (Barry Rozner) called Larry Fitzgerald the best player in the history of college football." Earlier, in the same article Mr. Rozner points out why the Steelers are so good and "it's why I (Barry Rozner) thought as far back in mid-November that the Steelers would win it all. Is the article about the football game or how smart Barry Rozner is? I guess I am just nit picking and should be glad that Mr. Rozner does not point out all of his incorrect predictions. But then, he would not be the most knowledgeable writer known to man.
