In the story "Armed robberies in area," the offender is not described as Hispanic, black, white or green Martian. This has been your policy for years, which raises the question of one of your editorials. Several months ago an editorial stated that police departments should be more forthcoming with information. Should you also be more forthcoming or drop the charade of giving an incomplete description?
