How do you know it's a hate crime?

I want to thank Roger Bianco for his enlightening letter to the Fencepost. Many of us have often wondered what constituted a hate crime; now we know. I used to think a crime had to be committed for it to be a hate crime, and even then crimes are never committed out of love, so what special facet makes it a hate crime?

Alas, the letter makes it very clear. Any thought, word or action that is in opposition to the left-wing, ultra liberal, socialist agenda is a hate crime. How could I have been so stupid as to miss that?

I do hate to tell Roger Bianco, but he doesn't have the right nor the power to determine if someone has "forfeited" his or her Christianity.

The left does like to usurp any powers that they feel are being improperly used, but God does not easily accept handing over His rights to a mere man. As I had read to my family from Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
