Threat to the poor on Social Security

I am submitting this letter to let you know how I feel about privatizing Social Security.

The most vulnerable of people depend on Social Security on a monthly basis. I do not feel that privatizing this system will help ease money problems; in the end these people will be hurt at the greatest rate.

Why are the most neediest of persons always the first to get their benefits cut? And such a small amount to begin with anyway. A war can be funded at all costs to protect the innocent people of a foreign country, but in our own home the most vulnerable are cared less about?

Why would somebody make such decisions not knowing anything about economics, as admitted by Sen. McCain? And he is siding with President Bush not knowing anything about financial matters? That sounds very strange that a senator does not know how economics work! Well, then I question how he can even make a sound decision regarding the finances of the world at all? Thank you for your time and patience.
