At Mundelein: Despite the efforts of Emma Schmidt and Kim Hotovy, Streamwood (3-9) could not pull off a win against Zion-Benton, suffering the loss 57-51. Schmidt scored a game-high 18 points, while Hotovy finished with 16 points...Down at halftime, Huntley (7-6) came back and took Conant into overtime but fell 38-36 in the end. Kadie Lowery led all scorers with 14 points, while Taylor Henning-Fletter (6 points) and Allyson Stellmach (5 points) also contributed for the Red Raiders.

Glenbard North 50, Elgin 39: Caris Alan posted a team-high 14 points for Elgin (3-9) but the Maroons fell short against Glenbard North (5-8) in the Wheaton North tournament. Ellen Holton also contributed 12 points for Elgin.

St. Edward 60, Mt. Assisi 43: St. Edward (9-3) came out on top of Mt. Assisi during tournament action at the Lisle Holiday Cage Classic. Katie Yohn led all scorers with 29 points, including a 7-for-9 performance from the free throw line. Callie Johnson contributed 13 points to the Green Wave offense, while Madeline Kerr added 8 points.

New Trier 60, Dundee-Crown 32: Dundee-Crown (2-10) was defeated by New Trier during first-round action at the 26th Annual Charger Classic Friday. Alex Lococo and Melissa Summaria each scored 10 points for the Chargers.
