Where are liberals in our military?

In a recent survey by the Military Times, 60 percent of the respondents expressed uncertainty and pessimism about serving under President-elect Obama. More interestingly, only 13 percent identify themselves as Democrats. For all of the freedoms and liberties that liberals encourage, why do so few of them enlist to protect their country where their disturbing behavior is tolerated?
