Conde Nast Traveler names cruise trends

NEW YORK - VIP areas, kid-friendly zones, and upscale adventure ships are some of the cruise trends featured in the February issue of Conde Nast Traveler.

The magazine also released the results of its ninth annual cruise poll, in which 11,000 readers voted on more than 400 ships. Each vessel was judged on activities/facilities, cabins, crews/service, design/layout, food/dining, itineraries/schedule and shore excursions.

Best large ships named in the readers' poll were Disney Wonder, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Summit, Disney Magic and Princess Cruises' Coral Princess.
