No one hurt in fire near Lake Villa

No one was hurt in a house fire near Lake Villa that raged much of New Year's Eve, authorities said.
Few details were available Thursday about the blaze, which was reported about 3 p.m. Wednesday at a house near Route 59 and Beach Avenue.
The fire destroyed the house, area firefighters said. It may have started in a clothes dryer.
No one with the Lake Villa Fire Protection District, which was in charge of the firefighting effort, could be reached for comment.
