Here's an offer Illinois can't refuse

Hey Illinois! Need a new Governor? Need a new Senator? I'll do either one of those jobs for $10,000 a year, an apartment within walking distance of work (studio apartment is OK), basic utilities for that apartment, and job-related transportation as needed. I gave up my security clearance after 27 years, on Dec. 24, 2005, because I no longer needed it, so you shouldn't need to do a complete background investigation as my background hasn't changed. This would also save the taxpayers a couple bucks. This is the extent of my campaign budget, so you'll have to pass the word yourself, but this is a serious offer.
