Hunt for fugitive:

Lake County Crime Stoppers and the Lake County Sheriff's Office are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a fugitive. Tristan Amon Lee is wanted on two warrants out of Lake County circuit court. The warrants are for criminal trespassing and for delivery of cocaine. Lee, 23, is described as a black male, 5-feet, 8-inches tall, about 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Crime Stoppers officials would like to remind everyone to call if the person is spotted, and not to apprehend the person themselves. People with information that leads to an arrest can be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000. People with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (847) 662-2222.

Lindenhurst expands recycling program:

The Village of Lindenhurst has approved a new five-year contract with waste hauler Groot Industries. Under the new contract, all residents will receive new 65-gallon recycling containers. These will replace the old 48-gallon model. The new containers will be delivered to residents within the first few months of the year. Groot will remove the old cans.
