Loyola puts it away late

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Justin Cerasoli and Leon Young both scored 4 points during a decisive 13-4 run as Loyola stopped a late Youngstown State threat to win 68-57 Saturday night.

DeAndre Mays made a jumper and 2 free throws to bring Youngstown State (5-10, 2-4 Horizon) to within 1 with 4:53 left. But Cerasoli responded with 2 free throws to kick off Loyola's run, Darrin Williams followed with a dunk and Young came through with a layup and a tip-in.

Cerasoli sank 2 more free throws with 59 seconds left, giving Loyola (10-7, 2-3) a 63-53 lead, then made 4 more from the line in the final minute to seal the win.

Aric Van Weelden scored 12 points, while Cerasoli and Marcus Thomas each had 11 for the Ramblers.
