How it would be if Gore had won

If Sandra Day O'Connor had not cast the deciding vote to overturn the Florida Supreme Court which had overruled its own Attorney General, Al Gore would have been too busy to win a Nobel Peace Prize for alerting the world to global warming. We would not have invaded Iraq nor given "laissez faire" to the housing and banking industries leading to a recession perfectly timed to ignite a record vote for the son of an idealistic white woman from Kansas and a Muslim black African grad student to fulfill the promise of America, and I would not be sitting here musing on the infinite intelligence of the universe.
