Like Obama, White Sox issue call for service
Just like their fan in the Oval Office, the Chicago White Sox are issuing a call to service.
Following President Barack Obama's lead, team officials announced Wednesday they're asking fans to join a new volunteer corps and work alongside players and staff at community service events.

White Sox chairman Jerry Reinsdorf says sports organizations have a responsibility to give back to their communities. He says the volunteer corps can be a "very powerful force for change."
