L.L.Bean coming to lifestyle center
SOUTH BARRINGTON -- L.L.Bean announced plans are under way for a new 30,000-square-foot store at the Arboretum at South Barrington. As part of the company's commitment to the environment, the store will be built to U.S. Green Building Council's LEED standards. The outdoor lifestyle shopping center is expected to be open this fall at the northeast corner of Route 59 and Higgins Road near the interchange at I-90 and Route 59. Maine-based L.L.Bean is expanding and plans to operate 32 stores by 2012.
