Old school Friday at Bar Louie in Naperville

Hop on board the Holiday Express train, which starts in Palatine and chugs along to Duke's Alehouse and back. Begin the party at 3 p.m. at Durty Nellie's, where guitarist Whitey O'Day will play. Board the 5:24 p.m. Metra and continue the party with Whitey O'Day and holiday treats. Hop off in Crystal Lake and enjoy 3-ounce beer samples, candy cane martinis and appetizers at Duke's. Ride the 8 p.m. Metra back to Palatine. For $35, the party includes transportation, appetizers and beer at both bars. Reservations are required.
