'No turn' sign will take care of problem

In his letter to the community, Mayor Craig Johnson states one of the reasons for the right turn on red-light camera at Biesterfield and I-290 is five pedestrians were hit at this intersection over a two-year period.

There is not a crosswalk here, a person would have to walk in the weeds or on the road. There's a walk on the other side of the street, but not there. The bicycle bridge was constructed years ago over I-290, but not lately.

Put a "no turn on red" sign there and at Biesterfield and Rohlwing Road, that will solve the problem. Of course, that'll take away your easy revenue scheme.
