Look to YouTube for election insight
Considering the inherited damage done to our country by the Bush administration, the choice we make in the upcoming election could destroy the country as we know it, or give us hope for recovery.
On one hand we have a relatively young senator with inspiring vision and the intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues. On the other, we have an aging war hero of questionable temperament, whose memory and judgment are failing.
For vice president, we have the choice of a long term, verbose senator whose history clearly shows he will put country above personal ambition. And on the other hand, we have the governor from Alaska whose recent interviews revealed rambling, incoherent responses that were not even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. It is pathetic when the candidate is so blatantly less capable to hold public office than the interviewer, Katie Couric.
I implore the readers who have not seen her interview with Couric to watch it on YouTube. It is incomprehensible to me how anyone with an objective mind could vote her into the White House. The voters must weigh the consequences of electing the candidate who chose her as his running mate without due diligence. If somehow, she becomes vice president and then president, it will be a catastrophe.
