Lay off Obama until after inauguration

Will everyone leave Barack Obama alone to work on the transition. There's nothing he can do as president until he reaches that official capacity on Jan. 20th.

Even after that date what great changes does the public expect?

A president does not introduce new bills. He cannot start or stop a war, or raise or lower taxes without congressional approval. His main power is to cheerlead bills he favors and vetoed bills he does not like. Can anyone tell me what any president can do right now to improve our economy?
