Noverini will bring change

The election of 2008 has one overriding theme: change. Whether it is the message of change resonating with voters toward Barack Obama and Joe Biden, or the change of reform voters support in John McCain and Sarah Palin, voters all across our great country yearn for change in this year's election, from the White House to the local court house.

The election for circuit judge in the 16th Judicial Circuit's 2nd Subcircuit has only one candidate who truly represents both change and reform voters are seeking, and that candidate is John A. Noverini.

Noverini's record of public service includes bringing financial reforms to the village of Carpentersville as an elected trustee. Representing Kane County Board's 23rd district, Noverini was a leader for change in the successful building of a new Kane County jail without raising taxes.

Additionally, Noverini has built successful businesses in banking and his legal practice. Noverini, a practicing attorney for 20 years, also is a teacher at Judson University.

The reform Noverini stands for in the circuit judge election includes his refusal to accept campaign contributions from trial lawyers. Also, Noverini wants to bring reform to the judiciary by the institution of night court, so hardworking residents do not have to take time off work to appear in court.

Let's elect the hardest working candidate with experience, integrity and intestinal fortitude to bring real change and reform by voting for Noverini.
