Lake Geneva's Summerhaven homes

Lake Geneva's popularity over the years only seems to have grown and for good reason. The unique setting of Summerhaven offers single-family and duplex home sites with views of mature trees along with many ponds throughout the development. The community is not far from downtown Lake Geneva and only a short walk to the lakefront.

Summerhaven also offers its residents a year round pool and a Manor House community center. This completely restored, 1890s manor home is furnished with antiques and replicas of a bygone era. High ceilings, chandeliers with medallions, brass gas wall sconces, and mahogany stained hardwood floors with matching chair and picture rails throughout speak of an elegance seldom seen anymore. The Manor House is the perfect place for residents to gather and socialize or for guests to enjoy for family gatherings. The Manor House is handicap accessible.

Summerhaven is a gated community that appeals to buyers over 50 but is not age restricted. The community offers maintenance-free single-family and duplex homes priced from the mid $200,000s. They include single-level ranches and two-story homes. Five designs are available with large front porches and a two-car garage.

Models range in size from 1,400 to 4,016 square feet. The Geneva and Bay ranch homes offer three different exteriors, while interiors include such features as dens, arched entrances, laundry rooms, an immense kitchen with island, built-in pantry, volume ceilings over the kitchen and family room and second bedroom. The master bedroom has his/her walk-in closets and large corner soaker tub, shower and double bowl vanities. Partial basements are standard and full and/or finished basements are optional.

To visit Summerhaven take Highway 50 west from Route 12 to Wells Street, south to the community on the right. For information, call (262) 249-9000 or visit www.SummerhavenofLakeGeneva.com.
